This kneeler is constructed heavier than most of the other one’s I have seen out there. I weigh 250 and have no fear or problems using this for sitting, kneeling, pushing myself up, or even standing on ” which I have done already”. This is definitely not limited for use in the yard, in fact we use it more for inside projects than outside. I could go on and on about all the things we have used it for. Basically anything you have to kneel for or sit in a low profile.
I have arthritis in my knees, and I used to dread when I would have to kneel or squat for something. I knew this was going to be like mission impossible trying to get back up again. With the side handles on this kneeler, you have something solid to hold and push yourself back up with. The seat has a nice thick cushion on it and is quite comfortable. This kneeler also folds up nicely to save space.
The Yard Butler has been a welcome and much used devise in our household and I would highly recommend it.

The item is well made and sturdy. The foam cushions are good. The seat is too high for me. It could be a little wider as it tend to wobble when using the seat. When opening, it locks in very well. It takes a little too much force to pull the locking springs back. a weaker person might not be able to get them far enough back to lock.

Being in called a senior shows when I try to get up from kneeling. This kneeler seat is the best for changing positions. It is sturdy and yet comfortable.

I dropped one star, because I found the kneeler configuration isn’t comfortable. Must be something with my knees. It raises them those few inches above the floor, which is painful. Holding the handles to kneel isn’t particularly comfortable. However, holding the handles to sit in the bench configuration is handy, and it is even sturdy to hold to get out of other seats.
What I like is it makes a handy, nonskid TV tray/side table. As someone pointed out, the pad is stiff, but the metal work is rather attractive. It’s narrow and pleasant enough to be a piece of furniture in my small motorhome.
It arrived a little dirty, and the box was a mess, which makes me think somebody returned it. However, a little wipe-off cleaned it up. The folding mechanism is fine and, most importantly, sturdy.
